February Balancing Changes

Balance changes will relating to several Defenses and Troops. At higher Town Hall levels Mortars and X-Bows have become quite underwhelming as defensive structures in terms of Damage per Second (DPS). One of the challenges in balancing the game is to perform these changes in a way that retains a unit’s viability and relevancy without making attacking or defending too easy or difficult. Although we are increasing the DPS to Mortars and X-Bows, we are shifting the DPS from Archer Towers and Cannons with the following changes:

Cannon:

Level 10: 65 > 64

Level 11: 80 > 74

Level 12: 95 > 87

Level 13: 110 > 100

Level 14: 120 > 110

Level 15: 130 > 118

Level 16: 140 > 125

Archer Tower:

Level 10: 65 > 63

Level 11: 75 > 70

Level 12: 83 > 75

Level 13: 92 > 80

Level 14: 108 > 92

Level 15: 120 > 104

Level 16: 134 > 116

Mortar:

Level 5: 8 > 9

Level 6: 9 > 11

Level 7: 11 > 15

Level 8: 14 > 20

Level 9: 17 > 25

Level 10: 20 > 30

Level 11: 23 > 35

X-Bow:

Level 1: 50 > 60

Level 2: 60 > 70

Level 3: 70 > 80

Level 4: 80 > 95

Level 5: 100 > 125

Level 6: 120 > 155

However, we are aware of the effects these changes would have on specific farming troops. Therefore, we’ve also increased the Hit Points on Barbarians and Goblins to the following:

Barbarian:

Level 7: 125 > 145

Level 8: 140 > 205

Goblin:

Level 4: 43 > 46

Level 5: 52 > 56

Level 6: 68 > 76

Level 7: 74 > 101

Eagle Artillery

We fixed a minor bug with the Eagle Artillery that required ranged troops to be closer to hit it than other buildings. Now they can hit it from the same distance they can other buildings.

War Leagues

War League demotion rules have been changed (these new rules will be used starting from March season):

• Demote only 1 Clan to Bronze Leagues

• Promote only 1 Clan to Master and Champion Leagues

• Demote 3 Clans from Champion I League
